SEVEN THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN TRADING TAPES WITH ME (updated 12/30/00):
1) I am trading tapes so that we can both share in the memories of watching the old shows with old commercials. I do NOT sell tapes, but rather I trade dubs for dubs. I'm currently NOT offering to dub tapes in return for blanks. I've gotten too many requests, and it's gotten out of hand. Sorry!
2) When trading, let's both be up front on the following: quality of tapes being traded and speed preferred in dubbing. SP is always preferred for me, but I realize that this is sometimes expensive, so please discuss before any trades.
3) I do not trade prerecorded videocassettes or porno tapes. If you'd like a movie, contact your local video store and see if they can order it for you! If you are looking for Tommy Lee, Pamela, Brett, etc., I'm not your man. I only TRADE videotapes containing programs broadcast on television.
4) When trading, I'd prefer that we both use NEW blank videotapes, especially of high quality manufacturers, such as Fuji, TDK, Maxell or Sony.
5) For our first trade, I'd also prefer that we trade one tape to one tape. There are exceptions, of course, but as a general principle, I'd like to stick one for one initially. That way, we can both prove the point that we are legitimate traders, and that we are both honest people. After that, I'm game for multiple tape trades.
6) Try as we may, sometimes it can get pretty hard to get the tape dubs done within a few days. Therefore, if there are any delays, we BOTH need to contact each other and keep the other person informed. As long as we keep the communication open, then there won't be any problems.
7) If you have ANY questions, PLEASE contact me via e-mail as soon as possible. I'd be more than happy to help you out!
Thanks!!
